The Story Behind Rue Cloud

Meet Cian Walsh
Turning Experience Into Impact
I’m Cian Walsh, founder of Rue Cloud Coaching.
For over a decade, I’ve worked in recruitment leadership at global tech and Fortune 100 companies, including LinkedIn. I’ve helped people get hired across Ireland, Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
I’ve reviewed tens of thousands of CVs, run interview processes at scale, built graduate recruitment programmes, and trained hiring managers. I understand how hiring decisions are actually made — what gets you shortlisted, what interviewers listen for, and how offers are decided.
In 2024, I was diagnosed with ADHD. As I navigated my own diagnosis alongside my career, I noticed something missing. There were career coaches. There were ADHD coaches. But there were very few who truly understood both — and how they intersect in real, high-pressure work environments. So I trained in both.
Rue Cloud Coaching was created to bring those two worlds together: real recruiter insight and practical ADHD coaching, combined in one place.
Rue Cloud Coaching is for ambitious people — especially those with ADHD — who want clarity, confidence, and real career momentum.

The Mission
Changing Stories & Futures
Rue Cloud Coaching was built with one purpose: to help people rewrite their story:

For Individuals:
that means reframing ADHD, building confidence, and navigating careers with clarity.

For Job Seekers:
it’s about transforming CVs, interviews, and LinkedIn profiles into career-launching tools.

For Organisations:
it’s building inclusive cultures where neurodiverse and underrepresented talent don’t just fit in, they thrive.

Chaos can still carry potential.
The Story
Rue Cloud is about perspective.
When I was a child, I was fascinated by the phrase “red sky at night.” The red sky in the morning was a warning. The red sky at night was a delight. The sky could look the same. The colour didn’t change. Only time - and your outlook - did. That idea never left me.
Because careers and ADHD work the same way. The same traits that feel chaotic, heavy, or threatening in one chapter can become powerful, creative, and full of potential in another.
Rua: Irish for red - represents the same sky. The same mind. The same traits.
Cloud: When you’re stuck in your career or struggling with ADHD, your world can feel clouded — clouded thinking, clouded confidence, clouded direction.
Rue Cloud exists to shift your perspective. To improve your outlook.
